In this real time focus tutorial, I will teach you how to draw a realistic black labradors eye and the surrounding black fur. I'll be demonstrating every technique, and listing each colour throughout.
 
Join me as I demonstrate each step of the process, and create a super glossy eye, full of colour, whilst building up layers and depth in the darker surrounding fur. Black fur is something many artists find quite challenging.
 
It’s all about adding those subtle colours, and building up layers in a way that gives the illusion of a silky smooth black coat. I’ll explain why you should never go in straight away with a black pencil, and what techniques to use to avoid ‘flat’ looking fur.
